Atlantic Beach GC

The Atlantic Beach Golf Club offers a Championship Links-style golf course surrounded by indigenous fynbos and less than 700 metres from the sea.

Weather and specifically wind will dictate your game plan for this course leading to increased enjoyment and playability. When the wind is light or on a still day you can play lofted shots and long drives while windy days will necessitate shorter low drives requiring a different test to your golfing skills.

The course begins with a par 5 hole with a right to left sloping fairway. Only the brave should attempt 2 shots to the green. Lookout for the big Milkwood tree, after which the hole is named, on the left hand side of the fairway. This is a fairly straightforward hole which will give you a good warm up for the course to come. Lookout for Hole 4, a par 5 hole named after Lions Head which lies across the bay. You won't be able to see where to land your ball but aiming for the Cable Station will get you started in the right direction.
