Rory McIlroy (Rors), the four-time Major champ, has committed to joining what could easily be the Tour's most powerful field this year. So, he'll be joining his Ryder Cup teammates Francesco Molinari, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose in the field for the €6,215,965 prized 2019 BMW PGA Championship title.
The tournament will take place at the famed Wentworth Club, West Course in Surrey, England.
The smooth-swinging and current World No. 3 is a former BMW PGA Championship champ. He earned the title back in 2014. He attempted to earn it again last season, however, he was the runner-up to Molinari when he settled with two shots behind the Italian who also went on to win The Open Championship some two months later.
