Rory puts Florida mansion on sale

Rory selling Florida mansion for $13m

Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy, 28, has put one of his homes in Florida, this at Palm Beach Gardens, on the market. The going price is $13m.

The newly-married World No 11 recently moved into Ernie Els’ former home at the nearby Bear’s Club Estate, less than two miles away from the one he is selling, the big South African having moved with his family to the nearby Old Palm Golf Club.

The Northern Ireland-reared McIlroy bought his Palm Beach Gardens home for a reported $9.5m in 2013 while he was courting Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.

Built in 2010, it offers more than 10,000 square feet of living space and includes an adjacent landscaped lot that McIlroy also owns.

It has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a double-height living space and a putting green located close to a swimming pool.
