South African golf professional, Shaun Norris is set to feature in the first-ever official PGA TOUR certified event on the Japan Golf Tour in tomorrow’s star stared inaugural ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP. Shaun Norris will join some of the biggest golf stars in the world.
The 37-year-old is expected to appear on tee no. 1 at 9 a.m./8 p.m. EDT time on Wednesday. A slot Shaun Norris gladly shares with Kevin Streelman and Jinichiro Kozuma. And on tee no. 10 @ 10 a.m./9 p.m. EDT time on Thursday.
Shaun Norris recently soared 34 paces to 96th in the official world golf rankings list. This after finished T2, just two shots clear of Adam Scott at the Japan Open Golf Championship. His final round of 71 left him a shot off the pace two weeks after his win at the Top Cup Tokai Classic.
Joining Shaun Norris at the par 70 Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club are fellow countrymen Louis Oosthuizen, and Dylan Frittelli. It is Oosthuizen’s first action in two months after he concluded the 2018-19 season with four straight top 20s before finishing T21 in the FedExCup.
