Tiger Woods Signs Up For FedexCup Playoffs

Tiger Woods Signs Up For FedexCup Playoffs

Could Tiger Woods, the reigning Masters and Tour Championship holder make the season finale by adding two events to his calendar?

He stands just a short away from Sam Snead’s high record of 81 PGA TOUR titles. Next week, Tiger is scheduled to teeoff at the Northern Trust at Liberty National in suburban New York. And at the BMW Championship in Medinah near Chicago in two weeks in a bid to line up for his defense at East Lake.

The champ was quoted as saying “Ready to begin the FedExCup playoffs starting with @TheNTGolf and then the @BMWChamps. Hope to see you there,” Woods tweeted.

Woods has n unaskable record at Medinah where he has added two PGA Championship titles (1999 and 2006) but has ‘only’ runner-ups at Liberty National (2009 and 2013).

The 15-time Major champ is ranked 27th on the FedExCup rankings ahead of this week’s Wyndham Championship in Greensboro which will see the top 125 advance to the playoffs. See-more on Compleat Golfer →.
