World Rankings: Spieth stays No 6

Jordan Spieth's 4-shot victory in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday earned him 52 World Ranking points, but they were not enough to move him up from his current spot at No 6 in the World.

Not so fellow American Dustin Johnson whose third place at Pebble Beach helped him leapfrog Henrik Stenson and grab back the No 3 spot he lost to the Swede a couple of weeks ago.

Spieth now has 8.5890 average points which have moved him closer to Japan's recent multiple tournaments winner, Hideki Matsuyama (8.6984), but for the time being, the Johnson-Stenson switch is the only change among the World's Top dozen golfers with Australian Jason Day remaining at No 1, Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy at No 2 and Johnson, Stenson, Matsuyama and Spieth at Nos 3, 4, 5 and 6 leading the way.

Highest mover among the world's Top 30 ranked golfers this week was England's Danny Willett, the reigning Masters champion who let a three-shot, third-round lead slip in Sunday's final round of the Maybank Championship in Malaysia and eventually finished in a tie for 5th place.

The Englishman, who started his year at No 11 but slowly slipped back to 15, reversed the trend and is now in 13th place.

Behind him, Fabrizio Zanotti, the Paraguayan golfer who came from behind with a sensational 9-under 63 to win the Maybank, has rocketed 101 places from 187th to 86th place.
