Hans Merensky Golf course in the Cleveland Nature Reserve area of Phalaborwa, Limpopo, South Africa is a superbly unique five star golf estate in an untamed African bushveld. This golf course is 18 holes and a par 72 of world famous championship golf experience.  

The golf course at Hans Merensky Hotel and Spa was established in 1967 and was designed by South Africa's premier golf course architect Bob Grimsdell as a premier golf club. It shares its eastern boundary with the world renowned Kruger National Park. Today it rates among the top 20 golf courses in South Africa.

The climate at Hans Merensky Hotel and Spa is arid subtropical with some of the hottest summers in the country where maximum temperatures can clock 40°C in September through April with periodic Summer rain of short but heavy thunderous downpours and cool dry winters of minimum 10°C on clear early mornings and late clear afternoons.

Hans Merensky golf course is about 6127m long with cynodon fairways and indigenous offshoot Bayview grass greens. The Hans Merensky Golf course was voted as the best walking course in South Africa.  This course has hosted several high profile tournaments. The club opens from 6:30am to 7:00pm. Visitors are welcome any day of the week.
