Leopard Creek Country Club

leopard creek country club logoWith State-of-the-art artistic design and landscaping techniques, South African golfer and golf course engineer Gary Player designed Leopard Creek Country Club in June 1996 and Phil Jacobs modernised the design in the year 2000.

With a golf course rating of seventy-four, the golf course at Leopard Creek Country Club is not only South Africa's A-ranked golf facility but is also one of the most dramatic yet magnificent European Tour event venues.

Leopard Creek CC is situated in Malelane at the southern edge of the Kruger National Park in the heart of the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. The course features several other water hazards including large lakes and ponds, streams and cascading waterfalls, but it is the great variety of animals

The golf course at Leopard Creek Country Club winds in sync with the Crocodile River. It is a perfect setting of the South African dream, with a magical parklands layout roving through scrublands and grasslands with plentiful sightings of the big five and a glimpse of a leopard for the fortunate few.

As a true country club recreational facility, Leopard Creek is played to the eighteen, stretched over sixty-thousand-six-hundred metres on kikuyugrass fairways, creeping bentgrass greens and bermudagrass tees to par set at seventy-two.

Golf weather and climate wise. The golf course at Leopard Creek Country Club is an all year round golf destination enjoying a hot, sub-tropical weather and climate. Summers are known to be hot, humid, and thundery, lasting October through April, while winter is dry and mild during the yet and chilly night long from May into September.
