Stellenbosch Golf Club

Established in 1904 as a 9 hole course this club has seen more than a century of golf and making it the 4th oldest club in the country.  The course was extended to an 18 hole course in 1953 and in 1999 hosted the SA Open regarded by many to be one of the toughest opens in more than a decade.

The par 72 championship course is laid out in order to both challenge your golfing skill and give you the best possible views of the magnificent scenery that defines Stellenbosch.  Bookings are essential for this popular course and in keeping with the clubs long tradition a dress code is strictly applied.

Your game begins on a 3 stroke par 4 measuring 392 metres at the champion tee.  The course's signature hole is the 3 par seventh hole which requires a short drive to begin a very challenging hole measuring only 151 meters.
