Membership is open to all estate property owners and to a limited number of non-resident members. A seasonal membership is also conditionally available to foreign visitors who wish to play golf at De Zalze Golf Club during their visitation. Open for play 7 days a week.

The name De Zalze was derived from the three adjoining wine farms, explicitly: De Vleie, Klein Zalze, and Groot Zalze farms. The layout of this golf estate is a perfect destination for golf events of the finest standard with majestic views to the mountains and Cape Winelands.

De Zalze golf course has the perfect mix of long and short parkland holes moving up and down the undulated valley and water features along the Blaauwklippen River. In the Western Cape Province only, De Zalze Golf Club is ranked in the top 4 best golf courses.

De Zalze Golf Club was designed by renowned architecture Peter Matkovich and opened its gate for business in the year 2000.
