Clearly, Mother Nature has a surprisingly unparalleled, unique sense of an artist. In this case, the stunning, beautifully spectacular lightning strikes you see in the video above were awe-inspired by electrical discharges, which happened during a volcanic eruption.
Bolts and flashes of volcanic lightning were observed shooting across a volcanic emission cloud during a violent volcanic eruption on Saturday night just outside of Manila, in the Philippines.
All the same, despite Mother Nature’s beauty, largesse, and hospitality, the TAAL volcano, - which flared out ash and volcanic gases into the air over the weekend, caused tens of thousands of residents nearby to flee their homes.
And throughout Sunday night, a significant number of volcanic thunderstorms dramatically lit up the ash clouds.
All this prompted the Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCs) to announce that the TAAL volcano is on alert level 4 of a possible 5 rating. This means that an explosive eruption is likely to occur within hours to days.
