Francesco Molinari's famous victory in the Open Championship at Carnoustie on Sunday has taken him into all kinds of high places on golf's various rankings lists.
It has also seen him make history by becoming the first Italian ever to win a golf major as well as being the man with the lowest-ever winning total in the eight Opens played at Carnoustie.
His Open victory along with his earlier BMW PGA Championship win has also sent him soaring to the top of the latest Race To Dubai standings with 4,234,947 points - which is 1,311,220 more than second-placed Masters champion Patrick Reed has.
And he is expected to soar from 15 to a career low of 6th place on the Official World Golf Rankings list when it is updated on Tuesday after the results of the weather-delayed Barbabasol Championship are in.
