Bosch Hoek Golf Club

Bosch Hoek Golf Club logoThe Bosch Hoek Golf Club rests upon some of the most picturesque estates in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal's Midlands region. Built-in 1963 by renowned golf architect and course designer, Bob Grimsdell, the club's nine-hole, the eighteen-pin layout is sure to go down as one of your most treasured parkland experiences yet.

Played to the eighteen the course that takes you on an enchanting journey around a lake, lily-filled dams, tall trees and over streams from one pristine fairway to the next. The golf course at Bosch Hoek Golf Club has a par of seventy-two and fords 5,870 metres in total length. Blue skies adorn the green grassy hills that surround the course and golfers heading there for a round of golf have the opportunity to soak it all in away from the usual business of everyday life. One of the most dramatic times to visit Bosch Hoek is probably the autumn when the generous green gives way to the fiery hues of yellow, blazing red and orange. What a spectacle background that is.

Fairways are Kikuyu, greens are Bentgrass and the Clubhouse invites guests, year-round to come and share a round of golf with them. Facilities are first class and include a wonderful clubhouse, halfway house, a bar, a pro shop, driving range, practice bunker, as well as daily breakfast and lunch.

Like much of the KwaZulu-Natal's Midlands and uMgungundlovu District region, Bosch Hoek Golf Club has a year-round golf-able subtropical weather and climate. Summers are wet and known to be allied with extreme weather events, particularly flooding, storms, droughts. While winters are mild enough during the day for golf, winter nights, on the other hand, are very cold and occasionally frosty.
