Vredenburg GC

Vredenburg Golf Club is a nine hole golf course on the R45 road between Vredenburg and Hopefield in the semi desert arid West Coast Peninsula region of western Cape South Africa. Vredenburg Golf Club has eighteen different teeing ranges which allows for 5725 meters, 72 pars and 18 holes of golf play.

Vredenburg Golf Club was once part of Saldanha Golf Club was established in the mid-80s, and was designed by Bill Kerr of Grimsdell-Kerr, Durban. The Vredenburg GC course was built by Bertus Valentyn in 1989.

Vredenburg golf course has a mixed layout of links and classical parklands. The fairways are largely made of well-maintained lush green kikiyu grass with trees and thick bush linings en route to some of the biggest and probably the best and fastest greens in the Cape of Good Hope.

Vredenburg GC is a semi private golf course. Visitors are well come almost every open day all year round but booking is essential. The Vredenburg Golf Club dress code is smart casual golf attire.

Country Club driving range with creature comfort services like mat hitting surfaces, covered stalls, rental clubs, rubber tees, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and the Pro shop.

Driving directions to Vredenburg Golf Club, from Cape Town CBD. Head north on West Coast Rd/R27 toward Melkbosstrand Rd/M14/M19. Continue to follow R27 for 98.2 km left onto Main Rd/R45 for 4.1 km. turn right and destination course will be on your right.
