The Wanderers Golf Club is a distinct par 72 eco-friendly thumbprint by South Africa's premier golf course designer and professional golfer Robert "Bob" Grimsdell. Wanderers GC is situated downtown Sandton City in Johannesburg. A small city but arguably the most important monetary & commercial quarter in modern South Africa.

The scenic 18-hole course at the Wanderers Golf Club is one of the oldest golf establishments offered by the city of Johannesburg. This classic-style golf course has as a captivating history which dates far back to the clubs founding in 1939. It was originally a ten-hole golf course but over the years Wanderers progressively matured to 18 holes.

At a championship length of 6274 metres long, the Wanderers course is a fair test of skill, determination and endurance. The layout meanders through a slightly undulating terrain and features a number of hazards including mature eucalyptus trees lining the narrow fairways as well as shallow but well-placed sand traps and a few beautiful lakes, that aren’t too easy to escape yet still not too tough to dodge.
